How to set up Amazon Household on your Prime account

Amazon Household is a great idea as everyone can have their Prime membership. You will be able to access your payment methods if you share your account. Here’s how you can set it up.

1.Visit Amazon home web pageLog in

2.Select one option under the Create your Family Now section. Add adultsAnd the Add figs(13-17 years of age) Add baby(12 and younger).

3.Adults can enter the name, email address and click the “Add” button to add the person. Complete. They will have 14 days in which to accept your invitation. Or, you can choose Register together on this deviceAdd their details.

Follow the instructions on screen for teens. This includes entering your teen’s name and date-of-birth. Faucet Complete. After they accept the invitation they will be able create a login. You can then choose which payment method you want to use.

Enter the first name, date of birth, and code for children. Faucet Add baby. While this age group won’t be allowed to shop on Amazon for themselves, it will allow parents to control their Amazon devices.

What other Prime users will get?

Prime shipping is free when you share your Prime membership. You also get digital content access if you give it to another adult. It includes Prime videoAnd the amazon musicTwitch Prime, ebooks, audiobooks and apps.

Teens can have access to the same digital content as adults, including Prime Video. They will need to approve anything they purchase on Amazon if they want to access it.

You can allow your children access to digital content, and set up parental controls.

How to remove someone you don’t want from your Prime account

It takes less than 5 minutes to remove an adult from your Amazon Prime account. Here’s how.

1.Go to the manage your familyLogin and web page

2.Select the appropriate option to remove an adult. RemovalThey can access your Prime benefits and digital content under their avatar. They will be unable to access your Prime benefits or any digital content once they are removed. They cannot also join another Amazon family for 180-days.

If you have to remove a teenage, make sure that you select Edit profileClick on the link to send it to the person. Take it out of your home. If your teen has turned 18, they will be removed from your Amazon account. They will not be eligible for Prime benefits or have access to your payment methods.
