Clearing out your Android web browser’s cache and cookies can help you clean up your phone

Samsung Internet

Clear data and Clear cache options on Samsung Internet

There are two options to clear the cookie and cache data from Samsung Internet browser. You can scan directly from the browser, or you can use the Settings app to scan your phone.

To scan while using the Samsung Internet Browser app, tap first Click on the Options buttonThe three horizontal lines that run in the lower left corner are located. SettingScroll down and tap Personal Datathen tap Delete browsing dataYou can view a list with all the options for deletion. You can delete a file Browsing historyAnd the Cookies and site dataAnd the Images and files cachedAnd the PasswordsThen there is the Autofill formsin any group. After tapping delete dataThe prompt will prompt you to confirm your selections before you can delete.

You can customize the browser app to allow you to delete what you want. If you need similar options, however, you can access them from the Settings menu on your phone. Open the File SettingApplication and press AppsScroll down and tap Samsung Internet And then Storage.

Storage is at the bottom. You have separate options. Clear cacheAnd the Clear data. eavesdropping Clear cacheHowever, it will immediately delete the cache Clear dataThe prompt warns you that all your application data, including settings, files, and databases, will be permanently deleted. Firefox offers the most options among the three browsers that we’re discussing. Delete browsing datamenu allows you to delete files Open tabsFor you Browsing history Location dataThen there’s the Location permissionsYou can even have your own DownloadsFolder side by side biscuitAnd the Images and files cached.

You can’t select a date range as you can for Chrome. However, you can be more specific about which data you want removed.

Firefox also offers an additional option to users who don’t want to save browsing data after closing the app. In the settings file Remove browsing data from bootThis option instructs Firefox to delete any combination of these settings every time it closes the app. This is a useful feature that allows you to organize your browser and prevent someone from accidentally giving your browsing history to someone who may have stolen it or gained access to it.
