Flexible workspace provider infinitSpace has achieved a major milestone by opening two new locations under its ‘beyond’ brand in Amsterdam and Berlin on the same day. This marks the first time in the company’s three-year history that it has launched two workspaces simultaneously in different countries.
infinitSpace designs and operates flexible workspaces for commercial landlords and asset managers. With these latest openings on 3 February, the company now manages nine workspaces across four countries, including seven under the ‘beyond’ brand—three in London, three in Amsterdam, and one in Berlin.
The new beyond Gouden Bocht workspace is located in Amsterdam’s historic Canal District, spanning three floors of Herengracht 471, a listed building dating back to 1666. The property is managed by Nuveen Real Estate, a global investment firm with $147 billion in assets under management. infinitSpace entered into a management agreement with Nuveen in Q3 2024.
beyond Gouden Bocht totals almost 1,000 square metres, including a mix of coworking space, private offices and meeting rooms. It is surrounded by popular restaurants, bars and boutiques, while its city centre location boasts excellent transport links.
Meanwhile, 400 miles to the east, ‘beyond Quartier Heidestrasse’ marks infinitSpace’s first opening in Germany.
Quartier Heidestrasse is in Berlin’s Europacity project area, a modern and innovative urban district. Located at Heidestraße 34 in the city’s central Mitte borough, the development boasts excellent transport links, with Berlin’s Central Station a five-minute walk away.
Spanning almost 4,500 square metres and facilitating 700 workstations, beyond Quartier Heidestrasse is situated in the complex’s six-story ‘Straight’ building, which combines a mixture of residential and office space, as well as a rooftop bar and cafe. infinitSpace will operate the street-facing section of the building.
In both of the new beyond workspaces, infinitSpace has completed a high-quality fit-out, equipping them with cutting-edge technology, including a workspace management app that connects flexible workspace members across infinitSpace’s global network.
Wybo Wijnbergen, CEO and co-founder of infinitSpace, said: “We are absolutely delighted to open the doors of both these incredible workspaces to members. It marks another big chapter for infinitSpace and our beyond brand, and we’re confident that businesses are going to love working from these new spaces.
“Herengracht is one of Amsterdam’s most iconic and desirable locations, and partnering with an internationally renowned institution like Nuveen Real Estate to bring a beyond workspace to this historic building is huge for us. From the historic to the brand new, opening a beyond workspace in Berlin’s exciting Quartier Heidestrasse development is a similarly big step for us, marking our first move into the vibrant German capital.
“We cannot wait to see both locations go from strength to strength in the months to come, and to forging more partnerships with landlords around the world so together we can launch more amazing flexible workspaces.”
