Following a standout debut in Birmingham last autumn, UK Construction Week (UKCW) returns with a new London edition this May—bringing even more innovation to the industry. One of its biggest highlights? Onsite On Hire—a brand-new, sold-out feature dedicated to the latest in plant, tool, equipment, and eco hire solutions.
Taking place from May 7–9, 2025 at ExCeL London, Onsite On Hire is supported by the Construction Plant-hire Association (CPA) and will showcase more than 30 top hire firms and equipment suppliers, offering a dynamic hub for innovation and industry networking.
Billed as where hire meets construction, Onsite On Hire will put the spotlight on low-carbon, battery-powered and hybrid solutions — from solar welfare cabins and electric mini diggers to energy management software that slashes CO₂ output and fuel costs.
Headline sponsor Speedy Hire will host Speedy Hire Live, a showcase of sustainable equipment and live demos. In addition, Speedy Hire will be sponsoring the VIP Lounge where a limited number of tickets are available. Following a successful trial in Birmingham last year, Speedy Hire Live London 2025 will be a key highlight of Onsite On Hire.
Asif Latief, Chief Commercial Officer, Speedy Hire, commented: “Speedy Hire Live at UKCW London is a fantastic opportunity for both our customers and wider industry colleagues to experience first-hand the latest innovations in hire.
“This event isn’t just about showcasing new products—it’s about creating meaningful conversations, sharing expertise, and working together to drive a more sustainable, efficient future for the industry. We’re looking forward to welcoming our customers to the Speedy Hire Innovation Zone and ensuring they gain real value from the event.”
