A group of prominent real estate investors, developers, and landlords have partnered with Bloom Building Consultancy, a newly launched firm specializing in building surveying and project management with offices in London and Birmingham.
Founded by a team of seasoned surveyors with over 50 years of combined experience in building surveying, project management, cost management, and distressed asset recovery, Bloom is committed to helping clients place sustainable development at the core of their property strategies.
Bloom’s initial client roster includes major players such as LandSec, global real estate investment firm AEW, residential and student housing developer Aitch Group, and serviced office provider Workspace.
The leadership team at Bloom comprises Gareth Belsham MRICS, formerly a Director at Naismiths and Capita Real Estate with senior roles at Arcadis and Atkins; Josh Ward-Jones MRICS, previously a Director at Naismiths and Associate Director at JLL; and sustainability expert Charlotte Whincup MRICS AIEMA, who joins Bloom after advancing her career at both JLL and Naismiths.
With offices in both London and Birmingham, Bloom targets clients across office, retail, residential, industrial, and leisure sectors, as well as developers in the student accommodation space.
Gareth Belsham, Director at Bloom, stated: “Bloom was founded to fulfill a critical need among real estate clients for expert, independent advice that maximizes financial returns while positively impacting the built environment.
“Our clients, whether investors, landlords, lenders, developers, or end users, depend on us to guide them through every phase of a property’s lifecycle.
“We understand that all our clients have financial objectives to achieve, but each also holds unique ESG ambitions. That’s why we’re dedicated to translating their sustainability goals into actionable strategies.
“From building surveying to project and cost management, to distressed asset recovery, sustainable practices underpin all our services. Our team brings diverse backgrounds and skills, united by a shared mission: to provide purposeful, expert advice.”
