We now seem to have an idea of something other than the rumored X-T5 that might appear at the X Summit later – a new macro lens.
Fuji rumors(Opens in new tab)I took what appear be leaked photos with the new XF30mm f/2.8 R LM WR Macro Lens. Fujifilm already has two macro lenses in their lineup, including the XF80mm f/2.8 R LM OIS WR Macro. But this could be a smaller and more affordable alternative that can double as a handy companion for everyday photography.
Let’s zoom in a bit to see where Fujifilm’s X-Series stands today in the camera world. The range is built around APS-C cameras, which are larger than Micro Four Thirds, but smaller than a full-frame. Although X-series camera don’t capture as much light as a Sony A7 IV camera, the overall system size is smaller that a full frame. This is why the range is popular with street and landscape photographers.
Fujifilm cameras come with physical dials to adjust settings such as ISO and shutter speed. This feature dates back to older film cameras. Apart from their retro look, they offer a touch-based shooting experience that is more dependent on dials and aperture rings rather than touch screens and menus.
Fujifilm XH2S and XH2 cameras have a more traditional PASM approach. However, it will be interesting to hear what Fujifilm has to share about this if they actually release the rumored XT-series camera.
We don’t yet know what products will be launched today, but there are great clues online.
One of them is, well, what appears (above) to be a first-look video with hearsay Fujifilm X-T5(According to your preference Fuji rumors(Opens in new tab)). It appears that Roberts’ US camera had a moment to rest her face and bypass her tab wires. This video will disappear mysteriously soon.
However, the odds of us ever seeing the Fujifilm X-T5 have increased exponentially. This is potentially dangerous news, for anyone who wants to resist purchasing a new camera this coming year (myself included).
Before we get into the X Summit, a bit of non-Fujifilm news. Canon just announced the Canon EOS R6 Mark II. It’s an update to its popular full frame mirrorless camera which will be available in 2020. It’s raining camera news right now.
The title addition is a leap in sensor size from the predecessor’s 20MP sensor to the new 24.2MP sensor. Although this sensor is not “stacked”, it’s fast enough for continuous shooting at 40fps (touch), he says. Fujifilm X-H2S) and some 4K/60p videos that are not cropped and amplified.

A large number of Fuji enthusiasts have already set up camp on the X Summit live streaming page. Everybody seems to have a different wishlist for today’s announcement.
Among the early comments was the desire for a “new X100 Series” (combined Fujfilm’s famous street photographs), the “X-Pro4 with the new 40MP sensor please” and its most popular rival, the “X-T5”. Fuji, there’s no pressure!
Why is X Summit so important for the camera industry? They have been more than product announcements in the past – we often see new lenses and teasers about future releases.
Fujifilm’s X Summit 2021 in June 2021 saw two new cameras, and eight lenses, four for X series, and four for GFX medium format. Fuji also revealed the next generation of X-Trans sensor will feature a fast stack design – ultimately, it was the in-house flagship. Fujifilm X-H2S.
Although I cannot promise you that there will be many announcements, there are likely to be some surprises. This event took over an hour.

It will be streamed live on YouTube if you are in Australia at 12 AM EDT on November 3. However, that doesn’t mean you have to miss it.

It was already the end for new cameras with the OM OM-5 and Hasselblad XQD100C making their debuts. Sony made its debut with the FX30 and ZV-1F and A7R V. Can Fujifilm overcome this today? We’ll find out within ten hours.
