We will be reducing our global workforce to help Twitter get on the right track. While we are aware that this will impact a few individuals who have made valuable contributions on Twitter, this is necessary to ensure the company’s future success.
We will use email to communicate this information due to the distributed nature of our workforce and our desire for affected individuals to be informed as soon as possible. Everybody will receive an individual email containing the subject line: Your Twitter Turn, before 9 a.m. PT Friday, November 4. Please verify your email, including your spam box.
– If your job is not impacted, you will be notified via your Twitter account.
– If your job is in danger, you will be notified by email of the next steps.
– If you have not received an email from @twitter-hr by 5pm PST on Friday 4th November, please email peoplequestions@twitter.com.
Our offices will temporarily close to ensure safety for all employees, as well as our Twitter system and customer data. Access to badges will also be suspended. If you are at an office or on the way to an office please go home.
We know that this can be a difficult time for anyone affected. We appreciate your continued compliance with Twitter’s policies, which prevent you from sharing confidential company information on Twitter, the press, and anywhere else.
