Intel has revealed new details about its new pay as-you-go CPU platform. It is now known as Intel On Demand.

Specific workloads can be speeded up.
Intel has not yet disclosed pricing details and capabilities for the new platform to the general public. However, they have indicated that the platform will be focused on artificial intelligence, networking, and storage.
The hardware giant is moving to a pay as you go model, as it appears that the company is stuck in a period for change.
The chip giant announced a cost-cutting strategy to reduce costs by $3 billion by 2023. It expects to increase to $8 billion to $10 billion annually by 2025. This plan may also include a “meaningful amount of” layoffs. As part of broader cost-cutting efforts, layoffs may be implemented.
