Apple finally approved a MagSafe car charging system, and it is only $99.95

We finally have the accessory that we’ve been waiting for, two years after Apple introduced MagSafe iPhones. It’s a magnetic car mount capable of charging your phone. as such 9to5Mac observerBelkin has announced the Boost Char Pro Wireless Car Charger with MagSafe. It is now available for pre-order In the Apple Store.

I know what you might think: “Wait Amazon! Immersed with MagSafe Car ChargersThey don’t even come close to $100. What makes this person so special? This person is MagSafe. harmonic. Who – Which This means they use a magnetic band to hold your phone, and standard Qi Charging which can’t pump the same power into your phone as it can with standard Qi charging. Apple won’t allow it. Although it claims it can charge 15W, some listings are misleading and claim that it can charge phones with slower wireless charging. It seems difficult to recommend.

One of my colleagues said that the part holding the hatch was a bit like Greedo. Now I can’t see it.

Belkin’s evocative name simply explains how it works. You place it in your car’s air vent and it holds your iPhone so it can see which maps and music controls are on it. It will also provide 15W charging power, which is much more than iPhones can draw using standard Qi chargers.

As I mentioned, this is a clear use of Apple’s MagSafe technology. Belkin was surprised by the result mainly because I announce exactly this. The day after the iPhone 12 rolled out for MagSafe — except it cost $40 which is baffling Leave the ability to actually charge your phone. If you use a navigation app that is extremely power hungry, then the main thing you want it do is to do what you want.

Belkin’s new accessory features a USB-C connector that delivers power from your car to your phone, which is not the case with this model. I would have been furious, as most cars with USB-C ports are likely to come with CarPlay. Notable exceptionsThis supplement is much less important. Belkin also includes a 12V car adapter for people who have USB-A ports on their cars or no phone charging capability. This seems quite logical, and I can’t imagine any situation where this might be a problem. However, I would prefer a removable cable for a product that is likely be exposed to sunlight.

The stand can also rotate your smartphone from portrait to landscape. For the most part, it feels like a perfectly competent accessory—except that, again, it costs $99.95.

MagSafe accessories can be quite expensive, but I believe most people will want to look at other options. Spigen makes a $21 versionThis is a bowl. $39 for MagSafe. Even if you brag about your achievements Fancy $20 Dual 12V USB-C AdapterYou can save a lot of money by not purchasing one. The Spigen Edition is available only in black, while Belkin Editions are available only in white. This will make the Spigen Edition stand out against most dashboards.

Belkin offers $60 off BoostCharge Magnetic Wireless Car ChargerIt is MagSafe compatible, which means it holds your smartphone using magnets. However, it can only charge at 10W instead of 15W. I may choose this model over the MagSafe ones, as I expect faster wireless charging to cause my phone to overheat in the summer.

If neither of these options appeal to you, Belkin Boost Char Pro Wireless Car Charger with MagSafe is the best option. Shipping starts November 14th.
