The new tool will allow creators and companies to schedule posts, reels, and swirls up to 75 days ahead of time.

Once you have created a new post, click on “Advanced Settings” to access the scheduling tool. Next, you’ll see a new toggle called “Schedule this Post”. Once you have selected the new option, it will allow you to choose the date and time you want to publish it. Next, you will need to return to the Instagram post stream by clicking on “Schedule”. Companies and creators will be able see scheduled posts in the section “Scheduled Content”, which can be accessed via a hamburger menu. This section allows you to reschedule content as needed.

The launch of the new tool is not surprising given that Alessandro Palozzi, an app researcher, notes that Instagram has been working to create this tool for some time. Schedule the feature back in July.
