In a rare move for the popular video game publisher, Nintendo acknowledged complaints from fans and critics regarding performance issues in “Pokémon Scarlet” and “Violet” Wednesday, and tweeted that it takes player feedback “very seriously” and is working to make improvements to the game.
The tweet also announced that a game update would be released on Thursday. Many gamers believe that the patch will resolve the game’s numerous technical issues, even though they are often funny.
Nintendo wrote in a newspaper Update patch notes. “Our goal is to provide a positive gaming experience for players, and we are sorry for any inconvenience.”
“Pokémon Scarlet” and “Violet,” released on November 18, are the series’ first fully open world effort.
