Apple allows developers to set additional price points in the App Store update

Apple has announced a radical update to its app fees structure. Developers will now be able to select from 900 price points across 45 currencies and 175 storefronts. Prices range from $0.10 to $10,000, unless Apple approves.

This is nearly 10 times more than what was available for most apps before the App Store launched in 2008. The price-setting features for app stores around world have been improved. A developer can set one price for a country. However, the prices of their apps will change according to the global exchange rate.
