Many of our readers were not surprised that the Apple iPhone 14 Pro made to the semi-finals. He finished third with 15% of the vote and made it to the semi-finals. This puts it in a clear lead over the Pixel 7, the fourth-place competitor that received 12%. It’s obvious that iPhones are loved by many of our readers!
This round only allows two phones to walk away with the winners. In this case, the winner was the Galaxy S22 Ultra and the Pixel 7 Pro. The Galaxy S22 Ultra came out on top in both elimination round and semi-final round. We thought this was quite impressive. Samsung has also won six out of seven Reader’s Choice Awards dating back to 2015 — sure enough that was another win, right?

Robert Triggs/Android Authority
We’ve reduced the competition to two devices by December 7, 2022: the Pixel 7 Pro and the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The Galaxy S22 Ultra won twice, with the Pixel 7 Pro finishing in second. We expected this trend to continue, and that the Samsung device would win.
Incrediblely, the Pixel 7 Pro beat the Galaxy S22 Ultra to be the new reigning champ. While the Galaxy S22 Ultra won on Instagram and Facebook it lost on Facebook. Android AuthorityIt won by a wide margin, 11% in fact. This lead, which received 52% of all votes, helped it remain in first place. This left the Galaxy S22 Ultra with just 48% and Google the crown.
