Many retailers offer return policies that allow you to exchange your unwanted gift for something more suitable. Many retailers have extended the return period so that you don’t have too many options to exchange your unwanted gift for something else.
We’ve listed below the current return policies of major retailers. This will help you to understand what will allow you to get a refund faster.
Amazon
yields: Amazon may allow you to return any item shipped between October 11th, December 25th, and January 31st 2023. This policy applies to Prime and Non Prime buyers.
An Apple
yields:You can return most products purchased online via the Apple Store between November 4th and December 25. This does not apply to items purchased directly from Apple, or an Apple Retail Store. You will need to follow the retailer’s policies.
Targeting
yields: Target allows electronics and entertainment items to be returned (except Apple products) between October 6 and December 25. They can also be returned as late as January 24, 2023 for a full refund. Apple products (except phones) must be returned by January 9, 20,23. All phone purchases must be returned by January 8, 20,23.
Walmart
yields: Many items purchased between October 1 and January 31, 2023 can be returned. Some exclusions may apply, such as phones.
B&H
yields: B&H allows purchases made after October 24, 2023 and before January 1, 2023 to be exchanged or returned through February 1, 2023 (with exceptions for televisions or computers that have been opened in their packaging).
Best Buy
yields: All purchases made between December 24 and 31 can be returned until January 14, 2023. This does not apply to items that are part of a third-party contract such as cellular phones and tablets, wearables (which have an 14-day return policy), holiday products, such as tree decorations, major hardware, which have 15-day returns windows, and cellular phones and tablets. Best Buy Totaltech members can also return purchases made between October 24, 16th, and November 16, or 60 days from receipt.
Costco
yields:Costco generally offers an open return policy. The exception is electronics such as televisions and computers which have a 90 day return window. Other exceptions are listed on the return page.
Jim Stop
yields:You can return new toys and electronic items within 15 days if the packages have not been opened or the receipt is still valid. However, you can only return or exchange used items up to seven business days after purchase.

yields: Dell offers a 30-day returns policy with some exceptions.
